Usman Khan, Ph.D., is a Technology Specialist, Patent Agent in Fish & Richardson’s Washington, DC office. Prior to joining the firm, Dr. Khan worked in the legal industry as a scientific advisor and as a Patent Agent/Technology Specialist.  Dr. Khan’s practice focuses on US and foreign patent prosecution and post-grant proceedings.  Dr. Khan has provided strategic counseling and assistance to startups, entrepreneurs, educational institutions, and Fortune 500 companies to obtain patents and expand their IP portfolios.  Dr. Khan has extensive experience in the following industries:
