Background

Jan Zecher is a Principal in the Munich office of Fish & Richardson and a member of the firm’s Trademark and Copyright Group. Dr. Zecher is a German Attorney-at-Law, and admitted to the German courts, the German Patent and Trademark office, and the European Intellectual Property Office, amongst others. Dr. Zecher has more than a decade of law firm experience in intellectual property and has advised German, European, and U.S companies in all trademark, domain name, design patent and advertising matters. Prior to his law firm work, he was a Scientific Assistant at the Institute for Copyright and Media Law in Munich (2001-2003). ​
