Background

Daniel Lee is a Technology Specialist, Patent Agent in the Southern California office of Fish & Richardson. His practice focuses on patent prosecution in a broad range of technology areas including electrical and computer engineering, semiconductor fabrication, and telecommunications. Dr. Lee’s areas of technical specialties include integrated circuits, silicon photonics, optoelectronics, lasers, nanofabrication, MEMS, 3D semiconductor integration, control systems, datacenter networking, and data modulation formats. He also has significant experience programming in the following languages: Matlab, embedded C, Python, and Java.

Prior to joining the firm, Dr. Lee was a Senior Hardware Engineer for a multinational computer technology corporation, where he developed and characterized photonic circuits and lasers for 100Gb+ datacom; designed and programmed custom test boards; and specified, characterized, and managed optical transceivers.
