Aamir Kazi is an Associate in Fish & Richardson’s Atlanta office. His practice emphasizes patent litigation as well as other areas of intellectual property litigation (including trademark and trade secret litigation), and complex commercial litigation. Mr. Kazi has a broad range of litigation experience, ranging from pre-suit investigations to trials and appeals.
Mr. Kazi's litigation experience encompasses a diverse range of technologies, including e-Commerce software, 802.11 and 802.15.4 networking technologies, building, home, and process automation tools, flat-panel televisions, and network adapter technology.
Mr. Kazi has represented clients in the Georgia state courts and the federal courts of California, Delaware, Georgia, Hawai’i, and Texas.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kazi gained valuable technical experience working in various roles in software development. In those roles, he obtained significant experience with different programming and scripting languages, including Java, C, C++, Smalltalk/Squeak, Perl, JavaScript, ASP, and SQL, and various software design principles, including object oriented design, multi-tier architectures, and relational database design.
