Fish Associate Veena Tripathi Joins Next Generation Lawyers Junior Committee

Fish & Richardson is pleased to announce that associate Veena Tripathi has joined the newly-formed Junior Committee of Next Generation Lawyers.

Next Generation Lawyers partners with ChIPs, the Federal Circuit Bar Association, the Federal Judicial Center, and the Judiciary to encourage opportunities for junior lawyers through the industry. The Junior Committee is dedicated to creating and advancing content, events, and other action items to empower junior attorneys seeking to obtain more substantive experiences inside and outside of the courtroom. The Junior Committee includes attorneys from law firms, in-house departments, and judicial clerkships across the country practicing across a range of areas. The diversity of perspectives positions the Junior Committee to further NextGen's mission of empowering the next generation of lawyers.

Tripathi's practice focuses on patent litigation and she has extensive experience in all aspects of the patent litigation process, including pleadings, discovery motions, pre-suit diligence, pre-trial motions, expert witness preparation, demonstratives, and mediation preparation. She is also a certified information privacy professional (CIPP/US), with expertise in a wide range of data privacy issues, including how to manage and secure personal information and how to prepare and maintain effective data security and privacy policies. In addition, Tripathi is committed to numerous pro bono causes. She previously clerked with the Innocence Project of Minnesota and has volunteered with the LegalCORPS Brief-Advice clinic, which assists new and emerging businesses with their IP and business needs.

Fish & Richardson has proudly supported Next Generation Lawyers since its inception in 2015. The firm has an active internal Next Gen initiative, led by principal Ricardo Bonilla. As a pillar of Fish's culture, the Next Gen initiative provides a voice and opportunities for newer attorneys and ensures proper training for Fish's associates.
