Overview

Jeff Burton concentrates his practice on patent litigation primarily involving computer hardware and software, medical devices, defense systems, and nanotechnology.

While in law school, Jeff was a law clerk for both the U.S. Senate Homeland Security & Governmental Affairs Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations and the U.S. House of Representatives Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. Jeff maintains an active top secret/sensitive compartmented information (TS/SCI) security clearance.

Prior to his legal career, Jeff served in the U.S. Navy as an explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) officer for over five years and completed three overseas deployments. He currently holds the rank of lieutenant commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve special operations community.
