Overview

Jamilla Holomon focuses her practice on patent prosecution and counseling in the electrical engineering and computer technology industries, including artificial intelligence/machine learning; automotive technology, including autonomous vehicle systems; medical imaging systems; and graphics rendering technology.

Jamilla has extensive experience in preparing and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications, responding to office actions, handling examiner interviews, reviewing prior art, and conducting intellectual property due diligence. She also has experience in patent litigation, including motion practice and handling discovery requests and responses. In addition to her work in patent law, she is skilled in all aspects of trademark and copyright registration. Prior to joining Fish & Richardson, Jamilla practiced IP law for many years in law firms in Houston, as well as working as a guidance and navigation engineer for a spaceflight operations company.
