About Derek

Derek Biehn is an associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Fish & Richardson P.C. During law school, he served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Thomas Bernard Pender of the U.S. International Trade Commission. Mr. Biehn also served as an intern for the intellectual property section of the commercial litigation branch of the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Division.

Prior to joining Fish, Mr. Biehn was a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Biehn also spent several years working as an electrical engineer at a major aerospace company.
