Overview

Charlene Thrower, Ph.D., focuses her practice on patent litigation in electrical and computer technologies. With a background in electrical engineering and psychology, she is well-versed in a wide variety of technological fields, including statistics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, decision-making psychology, and consumer-product research.

Prior to joining Fish & Richardson, Charlene had a long and distinguished career in research and development in the consumer products industry, where she focused on consumer research, product testing, and claim substantiation. Her extensive industry experience gives her an insider’s perspective and unique insights into the issues that matter most to her clients. Charlene’s work has been published in a variety of academic journals. Outside of her practice, Charlene enjoys Chinese cooking, golfing, and documentaries.
