Overview

Allison Dietrich’s practice focuses on prosecution of U.S. and foreign patents related to a broad range of electrical, mechanical, and computer technologies. She manages patent portfolios for a wide variety of clients ranging from multinational technology companies to startups and individual inventors. Allison has significant experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications covering electrical power generation and distribution, audio systems, display systems, robotics, consumer electronics, home and business automation, and image processing.

Prior to joining Fish & Richardson, Allison worked in the reactor licensing division of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Previously, she served on active duty with the U.S. Navy as a systems engineering instructor at the U.S. Naval Academy and as a surface warfare officer operating an aircraft carrier nuclear propulsion plant. Allison currently serves as a naval reserve officer and as a county election judge.
