The European Perspective — Parsing the Patent Landscape

Wednesday, March 21, 2012
The European Perspective — Parsing the Patent Landscape

The global pharmaceutical market peaked at USD $900 billion in 2011, with a US market share of 28%, followed by Europe with 15% and Japan with 12%. Markus Coehn from Fish & Richardson’s Munich office will discuss current European patent law developments to help you optimize your prosecution and litigation strategies in the world’s second-largest pharma market.

Topics will include, among others, developments in the field of polymorphs, reach-through claims, questions of inherent anticipation, and patent term extension.

The discussion will also cover current trends affecting how you will prosecute and litigate your portfolio in 5 to 10 years’ time.

Participation is free, but please sign up in advance by emailing Liz Giliberti at giliberti@fr.com. We will validate garage parking in our building.
