Overview

Evan Davey, Ph.D., focuses his practice on patent prosecution in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, chemical, and energy industries. In addition to preparing and prosecuting patent applications, Evan manages patent portfolios for small and large clients and provides assistance with due diligence, freedom to operate, and landscape reviews.

Before joining Fish & Richardson, Evan earned his Ph.D. in organic and polymer chemistry from Georgia Institute of Technology, with a focus on the design and modification of cross-conjugated fluorescent probes for ratiometric sensing applications. Upon completing his degree, Evan was a postdoctoral fellow at Georgia Tech, where his research focused on the synthesis of nutraceuticals, development of green processes, and continuous flow systems.
