Background

Casey Kraning-Rush, Ph.D., is a litigation associate in Fish & Richardson’s Delaware office. Dr. Kraning-Rush was previously a summer associate with the firm in 2014 and 2015, where she focused primarily on patent litigation.  She earned her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering and has extensive experience researching cellular and molecular medicine.  Dr. Kraning-Rush works primarily with clients in the pharmaceutical industry, but also represents clients in the semiconductor and oil & gas industries.  Dr. Kraning-Rush has experience in drafting discovery, working with technical experts, conducting pre-suit diligence, and working on all stages of IPRs—assisting with everything from pre-filing diligence through drafting slides for oral argument.  In the pro bono sphere, Dr. Kraning-Rush has represented clients before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services agency, in Delaware Family Court, and is currently assisting a public defender’s office in obtaining discovery in an 8th Amendment challenge brought by inmates on death row.  She continues to seek new opportunities to grow and strengthen her practice.
