Richard Wong, Ph.D., practices in the fields of electronic engineering and biological engineering. Richard represents clients in patent prosecution matters in a wide array of technology areas.

In his practice, Richard handles matters involving image and signal processing, artificial intelligence/machine learning, autonomous vehicles, computer vision, and video coding. He also provides counsel regarding cellular communications, medical devices, cloud computing, semiconductors, wearable devices, blockchain, and financial services. As a part of his practice, Richard guides clients in building valuable patent portfolios in both U.S. and foreign jurisdictions. Richard also helps clients obtain standard essential patents, such as in cellular and video coding technologies.

During his graduate studies, Richard investigated techniques to increase the diagnostic ability of MRI by selectively delivering and imaging contrast-enhancing nanoparticles to areas of interest in the body.
