Juanita Brooks, a principal in Fish & Richardson’s Southern California office, is a powerhouse litigator who manages over 30 active patent cases annually and goes to trial multiple times each year. After graduating from Yale Law School, Brooks first made her mark in the legal world working for Federal Defenders Inc., later specializing in high-profile white collar crime cases. In 2000, she made the leap into patent litigation. She quickly rose to the top of her field, representing large clients in high stakes trials while earning a reputation as a tough litigator who connects with juries and can explain complex science with layman’s terms and simple graphics.
