Law360, New York (September 30, 2009) — Richard J. Anderson is a principal with Fish & Richardson PC and chairman of the firm’s patent group. He focuses his practice on patent prosecution, infringement and validity opinions, as well as patent litigation and appellate matters.

Anderson served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Daniel M. Friedman in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit after receiving his law degree, magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, from the University of Minnesota Law School J.D. He received his B.A. in biology, summa cum laude, from the College of St. Thomas and was a doctoral candidate in pharmacology at the University of Minnesota.
