ICANN is targeting May 22, 2012 as the intended reopening date for filing applications for new gTLDs. The application period will remain open until May 30, 2012. The Application System was taken offline by ICANN following a technical glitch that may have allowed some users to see information of other applicants, including file names and user names. ICANN believes the majority of applicants were unaffected by the glitch but continues to review the system logs and traffic and will notify applicants if any new and relevant information emerges.

ICANN has not announced when the identity of applicants and the new gTLDs applied for will be revealed. We will continue to update our website with additional information as it develops.
