GE to share patents with crowdsourcing platform

David Feigenbaum provides patent-expert insight

Fish’s David Feigenbaum spoke with World Intellectual Property Review about GE’s partnership with crowdsourcing product development website Quirky – a partnership aimed at providing inventors with access to thousands of GE’s patents.

David said, “[Quirky] is a visionary platformfor cooperative thinking by everyone everywhere. What more important way to change the world than making the marketplace for patent more fluid?…There may be some tricky IP issues to navigate. But so what – smart brains will invent around them.”
