Fish scores high in Human Rights Campaign Foundation's Corporate Equality Index

Fish recently received a score of 75 percent in the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index (CEI) of 2006.

Fish & Richardson recently received a score of 75 percent in the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index (CEI) of 2006. The annual index, now in its fifth year, examines and evaluates corporate policies affecting gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) employees throughout the country. Fish’s score was not the highest ranking in Massachusetts, but it was the third highest amongst the companies surveyed.

The 2006 CEI report is the only comprehensive measure of GLBT diversity initiatives. It rates Fortune 500 and other major companies on a scale of 0 to 100 on seven key indicators of fair treatment ranging from health insurance, written non-discriminatory policies covering sexual orientation, diversity training and family leave policies for employees with same-sex partners. There were nearly 500 major U.S. companies surveyed for the report.
