Fish & Richardson was recently honored at Managing Intellectual Property’s North America Awards 2010 for the U.S. Trademark Case of the Year.  The case, In re Bose, was chosen by Managing Intellectual Property because, “The Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit changed the standard for proving fraud before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, a ruling that was largely heralded by practitioners and has greatly changed the way fraud pleadings are made before the Board.”

Charles Hieken of Fish and Mark Sullivan of Bose were on hand to receive the honor at the awards ceremony held on April 15, 2010, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Washington, D.C.  In re Bose was also selected by Managing Intellectual Property as one of the “10 Cases of the Year” for 2009.
