Boston, MA, July 19, 2010 – Fish & Richardson announced today that seven attorneys have been named Boston’s Best Lawyers in Intellectual Property (IP), more than any other firm. Boston’s Best Lawyers 2010 Edition is a comprehensive guide to the city’s top lawyers excerpted from the 2010 edition of The Best Lawyers in America®, the preeminent referral guide to the legal profession in the United States.

The Fish IP attorneys listed as the best in Boston include: David L. Feigenbaum, Timothy A. French, Gilbert H. Hennessey, Charles Hieken, Robert E. Hillman, Frank P. Porcelli, and Frank E. Scherkenbach. Mr. Feigenbaum was also recognized as a Best Lawyer in Technology Law. In addition, Roger D. Feldman was named a Best Lawyer for both the Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions specialties.

“As a leading global IP law firm, it is an honor to have more of Boston’s best IP lawyers than any other firm,” said Peter Devlin, President of Fish & Richardson. “It is especially gratifying to have some of our leading attorneys recognized by other top lawyers in the profession.”

Attorneys are selected to the Best Lawyers guide through a confidential nomination and voting process by top lawyers evaluating their professional peers. Based on more than 2.8 million evaluations of lawyers by other lawyers, Best Lawyers lists are considered to be the gold standard of reliability and integrity, and represent the most reliable, accurate, and useful guide to the legal profession in the United States. The Boston’s Best Lawyers guide is published in the Boston Globe Magazine and on Boston.com.
