Nine attorneys from the Texas offices of Fish & Richardson P.C. are being honored on the 2014 Texas Rising Stars list, which recognizes the state’s top young legal leaders. “I’m proud to work with each of these lawyers as they continue to take on new responsibilities and excel on behalf of the firm and our clients.”

The annual listing from Thomson Reuters’ legal division is limited to the top 2.5 percent of qualified Texas attorneys. Honorees are selected based on nominations from other attorneys across the state and an extensive review conducted by the editors at Texas Rising Stars. Eligible lawyers are 40 years old or younger or those who have been in practice for no more than 10 years.

Attorney David M. Hoffman, a Principal in Fish’s Austin office, is recognized in the 2014 list based on his work in intellectual property litigation.

Also recognized for excellence in intellectual property litigation are firm Principals Carl Bruce and Britnee M. Reamy from Fish’s Dallas office.

Fellow Dallas Principals Taj Clayton, Andrew R. Graben, Scott C. Thomas and Chad B. Walker are honored for their work in business litigation.

Fish Principals Benjamin C. Elacqua and Wasif Qureshi of Houston also are recognized for their expertise in intellectual property litigation.

“This group of young attorneys is second to none, and they all are very deserving of the recognition in Texas Rising Stars,” says Thomas M. Melsheimer, Managing Principal of Fish’s Dallas office. “I’m proud to work with each of these lawyers as they continue to take on new responsibilities and excel on behalf of the firm and our clients.”
