Firm’s Life Sciences Practice Also Receives Top Rankings

Boston, MA, July 12, 2012 – Fish & Richardson announced today that five of its principals – Gwilym Attwell, Juanita Brooks, Janis Fraser, John Freeman, and Jonathan Singer – were named intellectual property “Life Sciences Stars” for 2012 in the inaugural edition of LMG Life Sciences.  The firm’s Life Sciences practice also received top rankings, with the publication noting “the high quality of work they have been doing for decades” and “how happy clients are after working directly with the firm.”

Fish was “Highly Recommended” for Patent Prosecution, Patent Strategy and Management, and Hatch-Waxman Litigation and “Recommended” for General Patent Litigation.  According to LMG Life Sciences, “Fish & Richardson has both the knowledge and the skills to impact the life sciences community…. representing branded companies and helping innovators breakthrough in the industry by offering extensive patent work in each facet of IP.”  The publication concluded that, “the firm’s IP work continues to build on its already well solidified standing.”

The research conducted by LMG Life Sciences, which is published by the Legal Media Group in association with Euromoney Institutional Investor, involved over 1,000 online surveys and interviews with nearly 600 attorneys in the United States, as well as a review of public information and feedback from clients within the industry.  This qualitative process of peer opinion, market feedback, and independent research resulted in a list of the highest-profile, most sought-after and best attorneys working in life sciences.
