Background

Michael Bittner is a Principal in the Dallas office of Fish & Richardson. Michael’s practice is focused primarily on intellectual property litigation, with an emphasis on patent litigation. Michael has experience in a variety of different technologies, including the Internet and website design, data compression, database management, geolocation, electronic commerce and banking, petrochemical engineering, digital video recording, interactive gaming, robotics, and medical devices. Michael has extensive experience managing patent cases and leading joint defense groups in the Eastern District of Texas, including the largest in the district’s history (over 400 defendants).

Prior to joining the firm, Michael served as Law Clerk to the Honorable David Folsom, Chief Judge of the Eastern District of Texas (2008/2009).
