Background

​Meghana RaoRane is a patent litigator in the Sil​icon Valley office of Fish & Richardson.  She has a background in computer science and software programming, and has represented clients in federal court and in Section 337 investigations before the International Trade Commission.  She has litigated patents relating to a wide range of technologies, including software, hardware, wireless, and semiconductor fabrication patents.  Ms. RaoRane has also represented clients in federal and state courts in commercial, white-collar, and securities litigation matters.  In addition, she has assisted clients in asylum and domestic violence proceedings.  Ms. RaoRane has experience with all phases of litigation, including trial.

Prior to joining Fish & Richardson, Ms. RaoRane worked in the San Francisco bay area offices of two major international law firms.  In addition, she has worked as an intern in both technical and legal capacities at Microsoft Corporation.  Before attending law school, she worked as a management consult​ant providing strategic business advice to corporate clients.
