Background

Karolina Jesien is a Principal in the New York office of Fish & Richardson.  Her practice emphasizes patent litigation and intellectual property litigation, as well as IP counseling. Ms. Jesien has experience litigating patents in federal courts across the country, including district courts in Virginia, Texas, California, New York, Ohio, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, Nevada, and the U.S. International Trade Commission.  Her patent litigation experience encompasses a range of technologies, both hardware and software, including semiconductor fabrication, Flash/DRAM memory, mobile communication, client-server communication, digital imaging, database technologies, web-based collaboration software, remote access, and data transfer/security.

Ms. Jesien holds a Bachelor of Electrical & Computer Engineering degree from McGill University and a law degree with an intellectual property concentration from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
