Jay S. Newman is a Principal in the Washington, D.C. office of Fish & Richardson. Mr. Newman regularly advises clients on regulatory matters in the areas of broadband services, online services, FCC licensing matters, and telemarketing at both federal and state levels. Mr. Newman represents clients before the Federal Communications Commission, the National Telecommunications and Information Administration, the Federal Trade Commission, state Attorneys General, and state public utility commissions. He also advises clients regarding sweepstakes, contest, and other promotional and advertising programs including those conducted online, via direct mail, and via broadcast.
