Background

Jane Du is an Associate in the Dallas office of Fish & Richardson. Her practice emphasizes all aspects of intellectual property litigation, with a focus on multi-patent cases. Ms. Du represents both companies accused of infringement and those seeking to enforce their intellectual property rights. Ms. Du has experience in a variety of different technologies, including NFC, RFID, SSL encryption, web-based messaging, geolocation, data compression, website design, internet sales, and alarm monitoring systems. Ms. Du uses her vast experience in the Eastern District of Texas to represent clients in patent litigation matters, which are often pending in the Eastern District of Texas given the busy patent docket.​

Ms. Du was previously a Judicial Clerk to the Honorable Rodney Gilstrap at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas (2013-2014). In addition, she served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Martin Hoffman of the 68th Civil District Court in Dallas. Prior to law school, Ms. Du’s engineering focus was on embedded microprocessors and she worked for Advanced Micro Devices in their Embedded Processors Department doing applications development.
