Background

James Wang is an associate in Fish & Richardson’s Silicon Valley* office. Mr. Wang’s practice focuses on litigation, with an emphasis on patent litigation. He has legal and technical experience in a variety of technology areas, including pharmaceuticals, operating systems, cryptography, and viscoelastic polymers. He previously served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Rodney Gilstrap in the Eastern District of Texas.

Prior to law school, Mr. Wang worked at IBM as a Software Engineer, developing low­level system software touching on networking, memory management, and device drivers. He also has experience programming in C, C++, and Java.
