ITAR: The Path Forward

This session will describe what the Obama Administration intends to accomplish in its efforts to protect critical national security technologies while simultaneously increasing export capability of "everything else". The booming international "ITAR Free" space technologies business has been enabled by current ITAR regime. This panel will also examine what reform means to our audience and provide a practical sense of what we can expect as more of us engage in working through the ITAR process.

New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM was recently asked by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to lead a new Air Transportation Center of Excellence for Commercial Space Transportation.
