University of Minnesota "Life Sciences Showcase and Breakfast"

Fish is a sponsor of this inauguralsemi-annual series of showcases where the University will present some of the emerging technologies and start-up opportunities from the University of Minnesota. The first showcase will focus on emerging life science technologies, including:

New class of bioresorbable drug delivery microspheres
Fibrin-based heart patch material for localized delivery of stem cells
A 3D imaging technology for localizing the site of cardiac arrhythmia
Non-invasive surgical algorithm for epilepsy surgery

There will also be a presentation ofpotential start-up opportunities for a giant magneto-resistive sensor technology, a thermochemical ablation technology, and a biomarker analysis system.
