Strategic Use of Post-Grant Proceedings in Light of Patent Reform

An advanced seminar for in-house counsel, focused on strategic considerations relating to reexamination and post-grant options following from The America Invents Act. With Chief Judge Rader; Judges Ward and Everingham; and CRU Director Yucel, we will explore perspectives from the appellate and district court level, as well as the Central Reexamination Unit of the USPTO. Additionally, with experienced practitioners and in-house counsel, we will explore the strategic impact of changes to conventional post grant procedures, during and beyond the transition phase.
