On Thursday, November 20th, Fish Principal Thomas Melsheimer (Dallas) and Robert Hart, general counsel for the Mark Cuban Companies, will speak about the insider trading trial of Mark Cuban during The General Counsel Forum Magna Stella Dinner & Awards. Details are included below and also available on the event website. 2014 Magna Stella Dinner & Awards Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort & Spa San Antonio, TX The General Counsel Forum is pleased to honor the winner and finalists for the 2014 Magna Stella Awards for in-house excellence in leadership and management at the Stella Awards dinner on November 20. The dinner will be held in conjunction with the Forum’s 16th Annual Conference of General Counsel at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort & Spa in San Antonio. The Forum is a community of 650 general counsel and selected senior managing counsel providing its members with networking and information exchange on best practices, leadership and management. Nearly 100 meetings and events are held each year through chapters in Austin, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio, including the annual conference in November, and the Forum Institute for Leadership in the Law (a six-day management program offered each spring in conjunction with the business school at SMU). The Forum is privileged to have a distinguished judging panel that selected this year’s finalist and winners. Our judges are John Glancy (retired GC, Holly Corp), Mike Godfrey (retired GC, Texas A&M University Health Services Center), Charlie Lotter (retired GC, J.C. Penney), and Elaine Whitbeck (retired GC, Alcon Laboratories, Inc.).
