Professional experience
Daniel J. Burns is a Principal in the Silicon Valley office of Fish & Richardson P.C. His practice emphasizes patent prosecution in the area of 3D computer graphics, computer animation, motion capture, holographic imaging, 2D image processing, game systems, compiler technology, virtual machine architecture, web-based technologies, computer hardware, and the mechanical arts.
Mr. Burns' previous technical experience includes work as an engineer in the Space Physics Group at Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California. Subsequently, Mr. Burns worked as an engineer and manager at various companies developing wireless communication platforms and distributed software systems.
