SunPower Corporation Systems v. SunLink Corporation - Representing SunPower Corporation Systems in prosecution of a patent infringement action related to solar panel mounting technology.

ArcSoft, Inc. adv. Zoran Corporation - Represented ArcSoft in breach of contract matter arising out of an alliance agreement to develop technology for porting video, photographs, and other media from a computer to a television and other peripheral devices (case was successfully resolved).

Yodlee, Inc. adv. CashEdge Inc. - Defended Yodlee in a patent infringement suit brought by CashEdge related to methods for retrieving and processing financial data. (case was successfully resolved).

Callaway Golf Company v. Acushnet Company - Represented Callaway Golf in two-week trial asserting that Acushnet's popular Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls infringe four Callaway Golf patents on golf ball construction. Tried to jury verdict in December 2007. Acushnet conceded infringement; jury found for Callaway Golf on validity of all four patents. Damages trial date pending. Published at 523 F. Supp. 2d 388 (D. Del. 2007).

Marvell Semiconductor, Inc. adv. Realtek Semiconductor Corp. - Defended Marvell Semiconductor in a patent infringement suit brought by Realtek Semiconductor in the Northern District of California relating to Ethernet networking devices. After filing Motion for Summary Judgment of Non-Infringement, the case was dismissed with prejudice. The Court also found the case exceptional and awarded Marvell Semiconductor more than $500,000 in attorney fees. See, 2005 WL 3634617.

Yodlee, Inc. v. CashEdge Inc. - Represented Yodlee in prosecution of nine-patent infringement action related to aggregation of data and transfer of funds over the Internet. (case was successfully resolved).

Yodlee, Inc. v. Block Financial Corp. - Represented Yodlee in patent infringement action related to automatic collection of tax data over the Internet (case was successfully resolved).

Yodlee, Inc. adv. Block Financial Corp. - Defended Yodlee in patent infringement suit relating to account aggregation software, distributed object technology and Internet applications (won summary judgment of noninfringement).

Sonic Solutions and Napster adv. Optima Technology Corporation (formerly known as Roxio, Inc. adv. Optima Technology Corp.) - Represented Sonic Solutions and Napster (formerly Roxio) in a patent infringement lawsuit brought by Optima in the Central District of California relating to CD burning software technology. Obtained summary judgment of non-infringement for client.

Cypress Semiconductor, LSI Logic, Micrel, and Linear Technology adv. Lemelson Foundation - Represented defendants in multi-patent litigation. (case was successfully resolved).

TIBCO Software v. Apple Computer - Represented plaintiff, TIBCO, in litigation over the trademark "rendezvous" used in connection with computer software products (case was successfully resolved).

Oplink Communications adv. Oz Optics - Represented Oplink in trade secret litigation related to fiber-optic components (case was successfully resolved).

Admitted to the bar in California, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth and Federal Circuits, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Eastern and Central Districts of California.
