Professional experience
Luca Sutto is a Principal in the Munich office of Fish & Richardson. His practice emphasizes patent prosecution and opposition, patent litigation, and trademark prosecution and opposition. From 2001 through 2007, Mr. Sutto worked for Gambro, an international manufacturer of blood treatment and blood components processing instrumentation. Most recently he was the Director of Ex Parte Affairs and Managing Patent Counsel there, where his responsibilities included managing IP in-house counsel and paralegals in Gambro’s offices in France, Germany, Sweden, and Italy as well as supporting the company’s R&D department in IP matters in these markets. Prior to joining Gambro, Mr. Sutto worked for ten years in Milan at the headquarters of the IP law firm Bugnion SpA.
