Professional experience
Frank A. Italiano is an Associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Fish & Richardson. His practice emphasizes patent litigation, pre-suit investigations, patent reexaminations, preparation and prosecution of patent applications, and client counseling in the area of electrical engineering. Mr. Italiano has previous law firm experience in patent prosecution, client counseling, and litigation support. He is familiar with various technologies, including software, business methods, computer and networking systems, Internet and e-commerce technologies, telecommunications, semiconductors, consumer electronics, electro-mechanical systems and processes, automotive systems, and control systems.

Prior to his legal career, Mr. Italiano worked in various technology areas. He held a position at a strategic and technology consulting firm. He also worked at a semiconductor firm, where he tested functionality of prototype integrated circuits. Additionally, Mr. Italiano assisted with designing power, lighting, and fire protection systems at an architecture and engineering firm.
