Background

Dr. Carsten Schulte is an Associate in the Munich office of Fish & Richardson. He is qualified in Germany as an attorney-at-law.

Dr. Schulte focuses his practice on patent and trademark litigation and other technology-related litigation. His experience includes patents relating to medical devices, mechanical engineering, computer science, civil engineering and optics. He also has extensive experience providing strategic intellectual property advice with respect to trademarks and domains.

Dr. Schulte was also a trademark examiner with the German Patent and Trademark Office and the Office for Harmonization of the Internal Market (OHIM) in Alicante. Prior to joining Fish, he practiced in the intellectual property group of a large German and an American law firm.
