Carroll Shelby and Ford v. Superformance
Fish successfully defended Superformance, which makes replicas of the COBRA “muscle car” designed by Shelby and sold by Ford. Case involved trade dress infringement and counterfeiting claims. Fish won summary judgment, and the First Circuit dismissed an appeal in January 2008.

MHL TEK, LLC v. Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC., et al.
Represented Mitsubishi Motors North America in a patent cases involving tire pressure monitoring systems.

Paice LLC v. Toyota Motor Corp. (504 F.3e 1293)
Fish successfully obtained affirmance of jury finding of infringement in favor of client Paice, and also obtained a ruling vacating the district court’s ongoing royalty rate that was significantly lower than Paice had requested. The technology at issue related to drive trains for hybrid vehicles.

MHL TEK LLC v. Nissan Motor Co., et al.
Represented Porsche and Subaru in a patent infringement case relating to tire pressure monitoring systems.

Paice Corporation v. Toyota Motor Corporation et al.
Represented Paice in litigation involving hybrid vehicle technology. Obtained jury verdict of infringement, damages, and no invalidity. Judgment upheld on appeal.

Honeywell Inc. v. Universal Avionics, et al.
Fish successfully represented Sandel in securing a jury verdict of non-infringement on all remaining claims asserted by Honeywell stemming from its original complaint filed against Sandel in 2002 asserting infringement of five Honeywell patents. Other of the asserted patent claims were previously held invalid on summary judgment and the invalidity findings were affirmed on appeal. The patents-in-suit related to FAA mandated Terrain Awareness and Warning Systems ("TAWS").

Ryobi Outdoor Products v. American Honda Motor Co., Inc., and Honda Motor Co., Ltd.

Represented defendants in a patent infringement action involving four-cycle engines.

ATI v. TRW Vehicle Safety Systems

Defended TRW Vehicle Safety Systems in a patent infringement suit involving the manufacture of airbags for vehicles.

Deltrans v. American Honda Motor Co., Inc.

Represented defendants in a patent infringement action involving automatic transmissions.

American Calcar Inc. v. American Honda Motor Co. Inc.

Representing American Honda Motor in patent litigation relating to vehicle navigation and telecommunication systems.
