Academic Research and Medical Centers
Fish represents universities, hospitals, academic medical centers, and research institutes in several major areas of practice. Among our attorneys are individuals who have in their careers defended malpractice claims, civil rights, and fraud cases on behalf of practitioners and organizations; prosecuted patents in nanotechnology, medical devices, vaccines, transgenics, and many other technology areas important to organizations operating in this space; provided counseling and patent strategy advice to individuals and organizations; and conducted regulatory review and counseling programs for clients in highly regulated medical areas. We also have substantive experience in technology and intellectual property transactions in this marketplace.
