Peter Fasse (Boston) recently presented opening remarks at this year's World Congress.
The 4th Annual BIO World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioprocessing was recently held in Orlando, FL, March 21-24. This year's four-day conference presented the latest issues, innovations, market achievements, and policy developments in the industrial and environmental applications of biotechnology.
Peter Fasse (below), from the Boston office, gave welcoming remarks at the Opening Lunch Plenary Session, "The Role of Venture Capital in Developing Cellulosic Ethanol," on Thursday, March 22. The plenary speakers were Dr. Jens Riese, Partner, McKinsey & Company, and Vinod Khosla, Partner, Khosla Ventures. Fish & Richardson was the sponsor of the luncheon.
